<p> DEATH REVEALED. Shirley Booth, 94, stage, screen, radio and
TV star; after a brief illness; in North Chatham, Massachusetts.
Booth's gift for gabby characters peaked on Broadway with her
appearance as the embattled wife of an alcoholic in Come Back,
Little Sheba, which won her a Tony. Her screen re-creation of
the role opposite Burt Lancaster earned an Oscar. But she is
best known as TV maid Hazel on the show of that name, who
eagerly interfered with her employers from 1961 to 1966,
snagging two Emmys along the way.
